You can now use Google Allo on the web

Google has finally introduced the Allo web client. In order to use it, you'll need to open Allo on your Android phone and scan the code at the Allo landing page.

I do. ...but with only like 2 people because no one else uses it.

The only way to force people using Allo more, is Google to drop Hangout, google talk, android messages and allo default sms app, Cross platform , RCS support and functionality like telegram....

One big concern of users is the need to share their phone number to chat. This prevents group chats to use Allo and remain in Hangouts or alternatives.
