You can turn off SENSE UI!

    Yes you can turn Sense off but how does that help with 2.2? They still have to build Sense around 2.2 before they can release the update.

    you're correct, it just seems as if sense is an app like helix. i've heard of other htc devices that are able to do this, but i myself have never seen it done out of the box. (i guess i was thinking out loud "maybe" sense was built in seperate) MAYBE!!! :rolleyes:

    Haha yea I hear you. Sense isn't a app though, it's deeply intertwined with Android in several places within the OS. The framework being one of the biggest.

    Sense is fully integrated into the OS. The Sense home (Rosie.apk) can be disabled (or even removed), but that does not remove Sense from the OS by any stretch of the imagination.
