Why does it say on my device that I don't have a device

Welcome. We may need more information to understand what kind of difficulty you are experiencing.

The only place I know that I've seen that error is in the Google Play store. Sometimes it takes up to a day after registering a device (either a new one or one which you have reset or on which you've installed a ROM) before the device can show up.

If that doesn't help, please post again describing your device, where you saw the error, and exactly what the error says. You can register as a user here and then post in this thread again or just post a new anonymous post the same way you posted this one, as you please.
