You gotta be kidding, right?????

Thank god he's not serious. Imagine what the bill would look like to outlaw something like that. It would look like some sort of extensive joke. If that was legal, then being able to talk on a cellphone with your hands can't be any more dangerous than risking an iPad crashing into your face. It would make the purpose of an airbag obsolete, hehe.

Actually, from my understanding that unit is currently under development by Apple, they're going to call it the Air-Pad.

It comes with a soft Mylar screen that has a flexible LED/LCD and can accept the Safety Air Bag deployment from behind. Apple is really buzzing that this got leaked as they have quietly began talks with some major Auto-Manufacturers for 2012 intergration. One caveat was the requirement for Voice command for the Air-Pad and Auto-Pilot for the vehicle as the system is design to be used on long distance travel The Air-Pad automatically disables at speeds under 25 mph and will not play movies while mounted. Some outside thoughts have mentioned using an LCD projector on the back of the Air-Pad to send accompanying GPS street/road view images to the windshield to aid navigation and instrumentation. Included might be head gestures to control reading e-mail and web browsing... but that's somewhat speculative at this time.

This certainly will REINVENT driving as we know it. OR by natural selection, control the fan boii population!
