I am watching videos on YouTube and they look like garbage. What am I doing wrong
Download the Forums for Android™ app!
Hit the menu button while watching the video, click on more, and then select "watch in high quality". There's no way so far of setting "watch in high quality" as the default.
If you turn on WIFI, watch in high quality will automatically set.
If you are on your phone right now this should look awesome..
press menu then more then watch in high quality.

True, but doesn't leaving WiFi on all the time cause battery drain?
I didn't notice any additional drain using WiFi...working from home full time allowed me to test a bunch of settings. The fact that I was constantly using it caused the screen to drain the battery, but that's another issue.
The key may be to set the WiFi to drop when the screen locks/darkens/sleeps. Though on wake, it doesn't look like WiFi is "re-connecting". It just looks like its always on. Either way, even if phone sleeps, with WiFi "active", I still got decent battery life. This from the guy that did a 2hr LED flashlight test.
The Motorola Droid release date was November 2009. Features and Specs include a 3.7" inch screen, 5MP camera, 256GB RAM, processor, and 1400mAh battery.
