Hi,

I would like to know your top 5 applications for the moto droid.

In order of 1st best to 5th best.

:)

Applications:
1. Google Maps
2. Grocery IQ
3. Key Ring
4. Bible (YouVersion)
5. Stats

its seems no one is showing love to their home replacement apps.

mine are as follow:

1. BW (must have for me)
2. GV
3. Launcher Pro (so slick!)
4. wifi tethering
5. remote for itunes

With over 100 good quality apps on my phone it is SO hard to pick just five.

1. Easy Money (finance checkbook type app that helps me keep track of my budget and spending)
2. ToMarket (the BEST grocery shopping list application)
3. Launcher Pro (just installed a couple of days ago and is already a must have)
4. Shazam (identifies a song that's playing so you know who sings it and the name)
5. Redboxer (search for and reserve Redbox movies to rent)

I am an app freak - always trying new stuff. ToMarket and Easy Money are two that I won't even TRY to replace with another promising application. They are both just THAT good.

Can anybody tell me how one is better than the other? At the risk of sounding very 'Apple', I want something that just works. Its funny how if you search enough for app reviews you always find somebody who has bad experiences.

If you uninstall either of these apps, do they uninstall clean and put everything back to the way it was? *default messaging app*

They are both good apps, neither will hurt your phone. I say try 'em both see what you like best.

In no particular order...

Ringdroid, because it's so easy to make ringtones for everyone
Handcent SMS: I love the font packs, some are much easier for my old eyes to read
Rotary Dialer, because it's stupid fun
BIC Concert Lighter: came in handy when it was time to make my friends in the bar band crack up on stage
Book Mobile
Key Ring
Slacker Radio
Audio Manager
