Okay, so lets say you can only choose 5 apps to use on your rooted phone. Which 5 apps make your cut?? (in no particular order)

In order of importance to me:

    SetCPU
    QuickSSHd
    Wireless Tether
    Titanium Backup
    droid VNC Server

Nice topic. Actually had to think about which apps were most important to me.

In order of how often I use them

SetCPU (kind of not fair, as it's always running)
    QuickSSHd
    Root Explorer
    Titanium Backup
Wireless Tether (Useful when I need it, but I probably have used it 5 times, at most, since I rooted the phone. Kind of ironic since it's why I rooted in the first place.)

    SetCPU, too.
    Wireless Tether, too.
    WiFi File Explorer
    Quick Boot
    Titanium Backup
I tried Driod VNC Server but it doesn't work on my Evo (RFB 003.008 error, will not shut down, uninstalled)

lol...you can't really use any of them without superuser :p
    shouldn't that be number 1?

I just have 5 top apps that I always use...

    tb
    pandora
    handcent
    quickboot
    root explorer

i could most likely survive with just those :p

I assumed (and correct me if I'm wrong), that the OP was asking about top 5 apps that require a rooted phone for the app to work. And yeah, the SU app is a given :)

Lol, I almost said SU just for the heck of it. Also, the terminal emulator *might* belong on that list. You don't need root, but it's pretty much pointless without it.
