Hey guys I just want to know what launcher everyone is using?
Right now I'm using ADW EX
LauncherPro all the way!
I have used Zeam in the past but the flavor of now is GO .
OBTW: If someone get ACER liquid fully working I would migrate.
Go Launcher EX is awesome, many features I don't see elsewhere, easy app management, easy to keep home screen clean.
Go Launcher EX on Motorola Triumph - Hands On Review - YouTube
I use Go launcher . I like it but i'm open to trying others
I currently use Go Launcher on my current phone and I am sure that when I get the MT I will be using it as well.
MT will be coming sometime next week.
I use LP Sense UI that is based off of Launcher Pro. I like Go Launch but it uses to much memory for me, if they can fix that it would be my first pick then Launcher Pro and last on my list would be ADW.
I am using Launcher 7-Donate.
HE Launcher 2
I use Go Launcher EX - love it.
just installed GOlauncher... i must say.. i do kinda like it.. not bad at all!
Go launcher ex and loving it.
SPB 3d... It's beautiful and very quick
Jolly ya SPB looks really nice but is it worth the 15$ or did you just crack it?
Currently running Helauncher2 but I have purchased SPB, just haven't played with it yet.
I like GO. Has more options and native addons (not that you need them but I do like the FB Widget) than Launcher Pro. ADW is simple but doesn't have effects or multiple dock bars
I'll be honest any thing I might question I will pirate it to see if it'll even work or if it's worth my time. I would pay and refund but a fifteen minute isn't enough to really tell for some things, and for others it's not even enough time to download.
If I find it worth purchasing I will, otherwise it gets deleted. While I love SPB it has one issue to work out before I buy it (after loading it up, if I press the home button it asks me to select another launcher and SPB disappears from the list until reinstall) So until then it gets deleted and I'll purchase when fixed.
I know it sounds bad but apps can be inconsistent and devs can be jerks, this is why I do this, but I never keep pirated software for anything more than testing. if I like/use it, I'll buy why do you think I made the Thunderprop, so I could legally buy a game I had tested.
P.S. I believe it's worth the $15, it's awesome!
does using a custom launcher use more battery life?
Not necessarily, some are better than stock and some aren't. I haven't used stock since I got my phone. None of them should really use enough battery that you'd notice though. Most of your battery life is eaten by data, wifi and the screen, I wouldn't worry too much about the launcher
Zeam is very lightweight and probably uses the least amount or resources, likely much less than even stock.
Ok guys I switched just to let you know i switched launchers to the Miui-like Launcher
So far no problems running great
I was using Go Launcher for a while but it seemed too slow for me. Also a lot of the themes were kinda ugly for my taste.
On my intercept, the lack of memory on it you need good apps. I had both LauncherPro and Go Launcher installed. Anytime I use Pro as my default it always like to show its real self, it always freezes at random. On the other hand, even with BOTH launchers installed Go Launcher ALWAYS ran smooth. After getting two phones stolen(Intercept and OV), I don't put too much time into customization, just a couple(a whole screen full) games to kill time some times.
Very little as stated above most of your phones battery is killed by wifi, data, Radios, etc.
However if you do use a second launcher, make sure to delete the widgets on the stock launcher. Because your old launcher still runs in the background, and I dont think you want twice the widgets running.
