    Hi All
i believe that the app for youtube has been updated and is now version 2.0.26, but on my desire its 1.6.

My question is that why doesnt the original app update to the new one, and as my desire is not rooted why should i be forced in to having 2 of the same apps as i cant remove the stock one.

Seems like someone is having a laugh!!

P.S Please no replies about having to root the phone, i shouldnt have to root the phone to get the latest version.

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

The new version is on the market, just search for it.

When you install it,it updates the stock app,it is not a separate app.

it will take you about 10 seconds to do it. Its always best to update all your apps.

This is by and large true. I would, however, disagree when it comes to the latest version of Flash 10.1. As I've already posted elsewhere, I think going from 0.00B (as the programme's embedded in the firmware) to >4Mb for the sake of a small security uptae is a) shoddy workmanship on the part of Adobe and b) something of a piss-take. But that's just me.
