youtube problem

I got the HTC eris using the YouTube app it came standard with. Most if the time when I watch a YouTube video it will say "sorry, this video cannot be played" I'm using the 3g with good reseption and I deleted my cache and that didn't help. Any ideas?

I get this on my HTC magic but thats usually due to poor signal / reception. Have you tried it in WiFi?

Great suggestion! I had the same problem, but with Wi-Fi active, the YouTube widget works just fine. Interestingly, when I made a shortcut to YouTube from the browser, it worked fine, while the YouTube widget always said "Could not open"

The faulty YouTube app has been a known problem for a while. It's not a bad-reception thing. 2.1 should solve the problem.

No shit you got the "Eris", Your in the eris forum lmao!!! But i think you should seriously read up on here before you go posting that you are having a problem... when the app has been known to be extremely buggy & faulty.
