I am a little concerned about how ZTE designed their batteries.
Currently the N9810 uses a 2500mah battery at 4.35 volts. This is very high voltage for a lithium based battery and will degrade battery life very rapidly. What I do is whenever possible try to charge no more than 80%. Voltage at 80% is around 4 volts. The rule is the lower the voltage the longer the battery can be used.
Most lithium batteries I have seen in the past have been limited to 4.2 volts but ZTE has opted to increase to 4.35 to push out a few more mah.
For ROM developers
I would like to request a feature for a custom rom where the battery charge can be limited by the software.
