Camera will not pictures up close????

Evo will not take a picture that is clear from less than 5 ft away. With BB Curve could take crystal clear pic of my computer screen from a foot or 2. Evo camera even after tapping focus is terrible. I could read the BB photo as to text on screen but EVO not even close. Can I not take macro type pictures with the EVO camera? Seems a limitation or is the camera gone bad?

try tapping the screen in the area of interest...i can take good close up shots so it might be your camera

his/her camera might not have been autofocusing right...it should work if he/she taps the screen

Something's wrong with your EVO. I can read the text clearly as close as 6 inches away.

Better be before my 30 days is up. Can they copy or dump all my settings and apps from one EVO over to another?

i would suggest u do the unrevoked root method and back up your stuff with titanium backup then remove unrevoked

download the unrevoked app, let it root your phone and download titanium backup from the market to create a backup.
then unistall unrevoked.
