Will my old BB charger work on the evo?

Will my old Blackberry charger work with my new evo if it fits in the plug?

yes most likely, i currently have 4 different means of charging it...the charger it came with (my parents house) , a blackberry usb cable with an adapter to fit the evo (at work), a generic no brand wall charger (my apartment), and a car charger (my car)...no issues with any of them

My Blackberry uses mini USB and I understand that the EVO uses micro USB. Maybe you have a Blackberry that uses micro USB though, Im not sure.

The charger no doubt fits in the phone. I'm just worried about it messing the battery up or something.

Input: 100-240v ~ 200mA 50-60Hz 11-17VA
OUTPUT: 5V=700ma

This is a charger that i bought off of ebay that the seller sent me the wrong one and has been sitting in a box for about 6 months. So hopefully this thing wont blow my phone up.

The Palm Pre charger matches the specs of the Evo charger, so I kept it when I sold my Pre back to Sprint So now I have a charger at work and home.

You will be ok if you use any micro usb charger with an output of 1000ma (1a) or less.

It'll be fine. If it's a mini USB, pick up a mini to micro adapter for a few bucks off eBay.
