I for one will be very pissed if the samsung viking dosent come with a forward facing camera. If this happens, im jumping over to ATT for the new iphone4. Im so ****ing sick of tmobile and their dumbass/weakass "smart" phones. Just wanted to vent. DAMMIT TMOBILE WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! IVE BEEN WITH THEM FOR 10 YEARS (BACK WHEN THEY WERE VOICESTREAM) AND THE BEST PHONE I HAVE HAD ON THEIR NETWORK WAS A DAMN 2G IPHONE.

because you make video calls all the time right? i agree about tmo not stepping it up like they should be but they focus on families and family plans they know the person that wants the newest best phone is going to go for an evo or icrap. there is rumor of the HTC Vision that will be the first dual core processor phone so i would say they are at least stepping it up a little

Ive been trying out the evo 4g for about 3 weeks now and i make vid calls to friends and family. I would very much like to do this on a more regular basis. Just b/c vid calls were marketed incorrectly and didn't catch on in europe dosent mean it won't in the usa(thanks to facetime). Video calls are the future. I don't care for apple as much as the next guy, but they are gonna market vid calls stateside and that will be the future. Samsung and HTC know this. thats why they created the galaxy s an evo 4 respectively. But for tmobile not to carry the same for WHATEVER reason is a slap in the face to a loyal customer like me. And you speak of family plans and such? what is better than talking to you mom who hasn't seen u in 8 months over a vid chat?!?!?

There must be some kind of political play here with t-mobile. It makes no sense for them to "delete" such a promising feature. Anyone have any input or info would be greatly appreciated.

According to T-Mobile. only 1hr and 27 mins until another let down. Is it just me or is anyone else really bummed out about this? Im just saying...

I'm a little bummed about the lack of a front camera, but meh, I'm still excited to have one of the best Android phones available on a good network. I wish they'd just release it now so I could be done with this BH2 for good.

Honestly as cool as a FFC would be no carrier other then Sprint allows for a FFC that you can use on their mobile network. Sprint can do this because they have up to twice the spectrum of the other major carriers and can support this kind of feature without worry over overloading their network. The iphone4 can only be used over wifi thus killing its usefullness. It would be nice if T-Mobile and the other carriers would at least do this but the openness of Android would make something like this impossible.

Btw I also think its funny that T-Mobile people are complaining about left out features like FFC and LED Flash (which based on the night mode shots I have seen isn't even really needed) while Verizon customers are bitching about the lack of 16GB of built in memory that the ATT and Tmobile versions have. Sounds like the company to blame here is Samsung for caving to all of the carrier change requests in order to get in launched on all networks in the US this summer and fall.

It looks like At&t, T-Mobile, and Verizon will all be getting similar versions. I'm not including Sprint because it has a qwerty. So being pissed off at T-Mobile about this phone isn't going to mean much. Just move to Sprint since it seems like they are going to sport FFC in all of there future phones.

What are the chances that the EURO GS actually HAS the necessary bands to work with Tmobil's 3g network? Any chances that this phone is listed and marketed as a triband phone but really is a quad band phone that will support all GSM networks? This is my last hope b/c i am on tmobile but I want the euro version and not the "gimped" down USA version.
