Rooted-Remove Bloatware... Seems slower

My hero definitely seems slower for some reason after rooting and removing some of the common sprint apps (footprints, nascar, stocks, etc). I didn't remove anything critical.

Anyone else experiencing this or have any ideas?

Are you running the new MoCaDo ROM which uses App2SD? You probalby won't see the increase in productivity until that is done.

No, I'm still running the stock rom. Call me crazy, but removing the sprint ware shouldn't have a negative effect on performance.

I removed many apps but have not done the MoCaDo ROM, but my hero seems much much faster now. It no longer takes 10-12 seconds for the screen to rotate from portrait ro landscape. Screens have no lag at all. The only thing I get lag on, and this was like this before, is the slide screen when you wakeup the phone is touch and go. It was fast when I first go the phone but now I find myself swiping it 2, 3 maybe 4 times before it goes away.
