Oh how I remember roaming these boards before the Inc came out. Waking up in the morning before working, shaving my head clean to make my cold-a-sac look less inviting and then checking the forum. The phone sounded awsome, I could upgrade, so I pre ordered my Inc. I was one of the first to recieve it. Man was this phone awsome. It was bright, fast, entertaining, it was plan sweet. Weeks went by and I fell more in love with my Inc. We became best friends. I was neglecting my baby boy and fiancee to tinker with my Inc. Then oneday, Im not sure what happend, I decided that the extra money for a data plan wasnt worth it, even though I was getting a 18% discount for having a occupation as a Fire Fighter. The diaper trips became more frequent, passies, everything that costs money, it all became alot, so I paniced and did the unthinkable. Sold my Inc. Not to long after I dedcided I wasnt happy with VZW. Customer care seemed to be declining and I wasnt happy. So i decided to cancel my account with VZ all together and, please dont judge me, go prepaid!!! Well, I went prepaid, and my VZ account was canceled, after chances by VZ to sway me back with a discounted phone. I was happy in my month away from VZ with my prepay. Until I started missing, you know, my Inc. Well that and VZ was going to charge me 400 as a early trm fee, wowzers. Well that wasnt going to work for me, 400 and my empty feeling from not having my Inc. I called VZ and sweet talked some lady into giving me an Inc at the 2yr price. So where I am. A baby, a fiancee and now, after having the greatest phone of all time in my hand, I wait for my Inc to come, now waiting though, in a huge backorder line, and using the original ENV until it gets here. The moral of the story my friends. With all these new devices coming out, dont throw aside the one love we all have for something because its new and hyped, maybe sexier. We have a sexy beast. Inc is good to us. Stay true to her and she will to us. Long live the INCREDIBLE.

What I get out of this story is that someone who's profession is to put his life on the line to save another's if disaster strikes, has to be concerned about the 30 dollar monthly data plan fee. You, my friend, are a hero, although you'd deny it, and you should be treated as one, in every way, including financially. You may be called upon to put your life on the line. (It happened on 9/11).

I honor you. I thank you. God bless you!

Wow, that is the craziest, sadest and sweetest story I have heard on here!

Looks like you will need to find another way to make up for that $30/month. Lets see... cloth diapers? Homemade babyfood? Less clothes that they grow out of in two weeks anyway? Cancel HBO? Eat Ramen for dinner twice a week? Don't let the baby out of the house so she/he doesn't get sick and need expensive meds?

I am sure there's many more options but those are a good start.

Welcome back! ;)

Do a video when you get your new Incredible... Here's the setup! Get in front of the bathroom mirror... start the video recording from your incredible Incredible... tell them you are a firefighter, a dad, and shave your head while telling the world your story about the one (Inc.) that got away... the one in the crib, etc... put it on YouTube... IT COULD GO ALL THE WAY!

As a matter of fact, I will shave my head in your honor TODAY!

I ordered mine on 6/22... looking forward to it. Welcome back to "FAMDROID"!:D
