Accessories Anyone mod the Innocase Active for the 2150?

I loved the 1500 TP2 battery I got awhile ago, but as I am never satisfied with not having the best accessories, I really want the 2150!

My old Innocase II can't be modded as cutting out the back will make the two pieces no longer be able to fit together, but the Innocase Active could be modded as it attaches front to back.

Anyone brave enough to mod that case yet? I'm on a tight budget and don't want to cut one to pieces before I know if it will work or not...

I was just wondering about this today as well... But maybe I'm not understanding how the Active case goes together. From the pictures I was looking at, it seemed that the battery shape could be dremeled out just as others have done to the verizon cases.

I've been thinking the same thing. And the inner silicone case could maybe be slit to stretch over the hump like I did with the Verizon soft silicone case. If it worked, you would have the best of both worlds - protection for the entire device, back and all, without creating a lint magnet. The thing that worries me is whether the Dremel work would leave the outer case too weak to snap on tightly. Edited to add: Also, I just checked the review for this case and it says it makes the power button hard to push, and the extended battery is already causing some people problems with that. And very thin silicone tends to not fit the device properly even when slit to accomodate the hump; it still pulls out of shape at the sides (I tried modding a cheap soft case and it didn't work as well as the thick Verizon one did).

I too am interested in modding the Active to accommodate a 2150 battery. Seems from the pictures that it is possible. I am not as concerned from protecting the back cover from scratches as I am protecting the phone from the inevitable accidental drop. Any Active owners willing to share their thoughts?

Active plus 2150 seem to be the perfect combination for the Incredible.
