Text option when dismissing a call

I used to be able to send a text message ("I'm sorry, I'm in a meeting. I will call you ASAP") when I "missed" or "Dismissed" a call. I was even able to add my own messages to the list. I have switched to Handcent and disabled the stock message app. I believe I lost this functionality when I moved to Handcent or upgraded to 2.1 (which I did at about the same time)

Also, when I go into Phone settings, I do have a default message set, and the ability to edit it before it is sent is checked, yet it doesn't work.

Does anybody know what may be happening. OR - does anybody know of a Market app that will do allow me to send a text to dismissed call ? I tried some, but they didn't work (ie Missed Call, Quick Respond, Text Messenger).

I'd really prefer to NOT have to use a separate app, but...

I believe that is a reply option in each individual messaging app, not in the phones settings.

Go to Menu > Settings > Call > Phone setting.

Edit: I think it only works with the stock app
