Is there a definate answer to when we can order the X online?

I've been searching around the forums and have not ran across an answer. There seems to be a lot of confusion surrounding this topic (this rep told me Wednesday, this rep told me Thurdays at 12:01 a.m. blah blah blah)


Can anyone confirm when we can actually place an online order?

Also, are we GUARANTEED an X on our doorstep if we do so?

Man, I sure hope so but after dealing with Verizon for the Droid Incredible fiasco and being "guaranteed" so many differrent things from so many different Reps...that I think the only guarantee we can count on regarding the "X" is they cannot accurately guarantee a God Damned thing.

They can put a probe on Venus but they can't tell customers how many phones will be available in 2 days or how and when to order them. FRUSTRATING!!!!

Just got off phone with verizon rep. asked her about early online order, to get delivery on the 15th, etc. She looked it up in computer and put me on hold and talked to somebody. Came back and said no early online orders.

Phone will go on sale 12:01 am on thursday july 15th.

Guess that means delivery on 16th is earliest you can expect? I don't mind waiting one day to save hassle of $100 MIR.

Oooh ok. Thanks. I do hope that it does stay like that when the X is released. I may just buy it through online and wait for it on Friday, but we'll see.

i actually don't mind the MIR..i'll just use the cc to pay my next months bill. If i was strapped for cash tho i would be all about avoiding the MIR for sure. I do think it's bs that we can't order online to have them the same day as launch.

Ordering online and having it shipped Friday is actually perfect for my schedule right now. I'm traveling Monday - Thursday and working from a home office on Friday.

This is how I see this plan working out. Order it Thursday (12:01 a.m.), no hassles with "lines" or MIR, go to work a happy man , more like a kid waiting for Christmas morning! Fly back home Thursday night, work again Friday (or i may be "sick" ) and wait on my X to grace my presence!

He will be placing the order Thursday for me. I can only assume it'll be the typical free shipping method. Will I get it Friday or have to wait until Monday? I know it's supposed to be overnight shipping, but is it really?

Same boat exactly having to place the order online through our corporate account rep. My Incredible came 2nd day. I bet this does too and I don't have it until Monday

I'm starting to think not...
If I remember correctly, my previous phone with next day shipping arrived on the second day... Specifically, I ordered Wednesday morning and it arrived Friday...
