Root Now that i'm rooted, could someone answer me these questions please?

Are there specific kernels that work best with bugless beast? i'm running v.04 with 2.6.32.9-p3droids kernel

What's the newest baseband? currently running C_01.43.01P

Kernels are not as ROM-specific as they are Droid-specific. What works on mine great may throw yours into a bootloop. Find one your Droid likes and stick with it. I am averse to running the new baseband because my old one works so well... the one you listed is the new one, I believe. Can't answer the question about the black notification bar, though.

all the instructions are in that thread but, Its for the samsung behold and may not work on the Droid.
