I got my replacement refurb phone today and the first thing I did was lay it beside my old one and compare the responsiveness of the screen when not holding it with my other hand. No unresponsiveness with the replacement. Now if it doesn't end up having the memory issue, which is why I had a replacement sent in the first place, then I will be a happy camper again. That reboot loop knocked the air out of my sail for the Incredible. Now I just need to get a back up going so I don't lose my new contacts that I don't have in Outlook on my PC again. The replacement says it was manufactured May 1st but has a warranty from 15 June. There is no date for the refurb line. Hardware revision is 002.

My first DInc which I preordered online and received day before launch didn't have any manufacture date so it could be from that batch. Good luck with it. I sincerely hope it's a good phone for you. HTC quality control/build quality seems to be spotty at best right now. Gone through two bad ones and waiting to see what they're going to do about the next replacement. Not willing to wait a month!

I don't know why you would have to wait a month. I called this past Friday and got it Monday, yesterday. Have you tried recently?

Edit: With regard to the manufacture date, did you do a ##778 and choose view, Nam settings? That's where the manufacturer date is.

I just got my replacement refurb this afternoon. Ordered it 2 days ago. I've been having a few random reboots and I have the grounding issue so thought I'd give it a try. I'm returning the replacement as the screen is dimmer than my orig Inc. My orig Inc has the pink hue and the replacement doesn't. They both have the grounding issue. Oh well keeping my original it's not bad just thought I'd see if there were any differences. Both screens are OLED. Replacement was marked 6/21

I just started a new thread on the screen. How do you know if it's AMOLED? My replacement screen doesn't have the dot graph when held at an angle but the old one does. I got my old one on 29 April so I know it's AMOLED.

Besides the pink hue on my original Inc the blacks are that of an OLED. I have an Eris too which is LCD. Unless LCD tech has caught up to OLED in the contrast ratio area which I don't think is possible. You are correct though about the dot matrix....my replacement does NOT have it like my 4/29 Inc does hmm...
