Seriously - i'ts my first post and I'm a little tipsy. I should wait till tomorrow but for the past two days I've been living and dreaming about this phone. I kind of want to do things to it your not supposed to do to electonics.
Ok - here is my rundown w eveything I've done w this AWESOME phone so far. I . I have two batteries and a batt charger, plus the regular charger. I had the spare chargin overnight while reg batt was in phone charging. I switched to fully charged batt and starting loggin activity. I was reading these links bout batt life.

I have yet to figure out for myself if a task killer makes batt better. I am just a noob. I came from a BB 8330 curve which was the business. I can text like no other on that thing. W the evo I am so so. Predictive txt sometimes get in the way. Whatever it's totally worth it! i love this phone. Here is my day:
Settings: Facebook set to never update. I refresh when I open it. 4G, wifi, BT, gps all off. Only non factory apps installed: google goggles and pandora. I only get 1 bar of signal when in my work building. Sometimes it even goes into roam
7:45 Insert fully charged battery, booted, put it to sleep.
9:00 New message has come in. Not gonna check it until 9:45 to see where my on time/awake time ratio is at
9:45 Checked ratio - 2 minutes awake for like 2 hours up. 100%
10:33 up 2:51.xx, awake 26.18 - 90% left. Checked and emailed several FB contacts. 8 txts
10:40 sent 1 txt, received 2 txts
11:30 Got on FB to post a message on a friends wall. And responded to another txt. Was on for about 6 minutes.
11:52 incoming txt. I woke up the phone to read it and decided to respond later. I have weak ass signal 1 bar and I saw it go into roam for a second. 4:10:42 Up, 39:13 awake. 90%
12:36 Browsing for some apps. For about 10 min. then I put it to sleep to eat lunch
1:17 Checked FB email. Browed apps for some time while in bathroom. Dowloaded NYTimes and Shazam and installed both. Glanced through NYT till 1:31 back to work.
2:06 Noticed I had a new message and I read it which led to a web link. Noticed I'm in roaming it took quite a bit for page to load. Up Time: 6:26:xx. Awake time 1:06:30. 70%
2:18 verified last.fm user name through my phone which took a couple minutes because of crappy 3G signal
2:59 Sent a txt
3:50 Checked 2 txt, sent 1 txt, checked email, unsuscribed from an email. Gonna be leaving work in 15 minutes. UP: 8:17, Awake 1:18. 70%
4:14 Leaving work. Will play pandora whole way home.
4:40 got home. Listend to Pandora at 3/4 volume for 24 minutes plugged into my truck stereo. Also sent 1 txt. Received 2 txts. Checked email. UP: 9:05, Awake 1:40, 60% batt life left
5:15 txts, 2 voice call more txts. Up 9:38, Awake 1:48. still in 60% batt range
6:30 Went to some lame mobile site to dl their app so could get a $5 game for free. Browsed web for a minute. Then unistalled app since the promo was over. Txt just came in and I'm headed to a bar. UP 11:12, awake 2:05 50% - danger zone!
7:00 met a girl at bar. Did sever al txts. Checked whether boxers need to have cropped ears/tail for medical reasons or not. Checked gimages to see if mini schnouzers had cropped ears or not. Sent several other txt mgs. It's now 1:01 am and I am checking batt. 17:21 UP, 2:28 awake. 40% left. pretty not bad....
1:13 AM I'm drunk and heating up leftovers. I did not get laid, however I laid the ground work to pissibly get laid. She is a b+. Good body, ok face.UP 17:33, Awake 2:30. Batt 40%
as more apps get installed maybe it will drain more batt???? I dunno
