Help Droid x sounds

Love the new Droid X. My only problem is with the speaker. The Volume is really low when playing music, youtube videos, ringtones, etc etc. The original Droid speaker is much louder. Is my Droid X defective? Or is the low volume normal? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I've heard others have had this issue....Something about the slit where the speaker is at is not big enough

I have the same problem.. Even heard people say the droid and the dx use the same speaker but with the volume all the way up on the dx its about half the volume of my droid ....

Man that sucks... Think maybe the software update on the 19th will fix this issue?
