Here is my review, i suggest you guys try it out and post your review here.

I'm gonna be honest here, this is BY FAR, the best keyboard I've ever used. I typed out a long 50 word text, and I maybe typed 2 letters from each word, and i was able to choose the word in a split second. I also selected the option to "hit space bar to select word in middle" which made life much easier. Plus I've been hitting the "scan texts" option a lot since i just got it and it basically knows exactly how I type and talk. For example, when i start a text, it already gives me options of (U, I, We, What's, Yo) and I just select the start of the phrase, and then once i select "what's", I have "Up" as an option up top that I can select, and if it's in the middle of the word options, I literally, hit space for what's, and space for Up, and the text is ready. It's actually incredible. I hope it doesn't kill battery life, but even if it does, it's worth it because of how much time this app saves. I'm not affiliated with this app in any way, check my posts if you don't believe me, (lol, aren't I defensive?)but I'm ecstatic about it, its like having a brand new phone because texting is so much easier now

PS. I know some of you experienced lag using Multi Touch, and some of you did not. I was one of the unlucky ones that experienced hella lag on Multi-Touch. It was always 1 or 2 keystrokes behind me at all times, causing lots of failures. I must say that Swiftkey, had no lag for me at all, and I'm making it learn from my texts so that most of the words I use are already there for me to choose from. Give it a try.

I like it a lot. I've been using it for about 4 days now and through the learning process I can often reply by just hitting the space bar 6-7 times. Sometimes I have to enter the first word then from there space, space, space. Quite nice and very fast. When verbose and when my finger isn't all wet from the high humidity here in the South (inside in the AC) I use swype. Best of both worlds imo Just remember swift will expire in Sept iirc. I'll pony up for it though it's worth it.

I like it alot. I was using swype before this. Word prediction is what sets this apart from all other keyboards- including swype. After using this for a week there's no going back.

I wouldn't say it's all THAT bad, but it does have some quirks.
This keyboard needs you to input your choices at first since it's predictive. It's trying to learn your lingo, it takes a few days and then it will start ending your sentences like your 8th grade best friend.

Bizarro things aside, it lacks a return key in the browser settings. It is a nice size though and it is amazing how well it will learn what you want it to type.

Keyboards seem to be a hot topic on these boards and I've tried my fair share of suggestions, it seems no one has got it just right because I keep trying other keyboards. Oh well maybe I'll find "the one" someday. I tend to switch back and forth between this one, Swype and the stock HTC depending on my mood.

It's not THAT bad for me? I used it from the day it hit the market until just yesterday. I gave it a good try even syncing it with my previous SMS to help it "learn" and I did atleast 200 more texts since. I think it's worst when I type urls.
So yes, it was THAT bad for ME.
Gosh I guess I'm not entitled to an opinion. :-/

i love it and the important part is no lag. and i like that im not spelling any words out. i type 2 letters such as "da" and i click on dangerous. you save tons of keystrokes

Trust me bro, i'm like you, i was hesitant at first. I've tried so many keyboards out there to make life easier, I think I'd be accurate in saying i've tried every single keyboard option out there. and I either experience lag, due to my long hours of texting on touch screen for a few years, or i experience words that dont belong, or I experience a mess of letters that were nowhere near what I had typed. I always went back to stock, and I'll even say this, I'm not a swype fan, but I even gave that a shot for 3 weeks, and i just couldnt connect with it, it wasnt for me. I didnt like the flow, even though the flow is what supposedly makes the swype keyboard so liked by so many.

I went to this keyboard (swift) and i'm loving it more and more each day, yes stock is great and stock is stable, but I promise you that you will like it after you get used to it. As someone stated above, after a few days, hitting space a few times will put in the texts for you.

Example, got a text that said "whats up", I hit space a few times, and "nothing, u" came up. it's learning as i go, and its saving me tons of key strokes, typing a word like different, i would type dif, and the rest of the word is there. It's really great, you wont regret it, but then again, you might hate it. it's all up to the end user, thats why there are so many keyboards out there.

i agree with you there JuffRuby, but since i'm used to the stock keyboard, my thumbs have gotten used to not touching 2 letters at once. I hated multi-touch bc it was too slow for me, i was typing too fast for it, and it was always 2 letters behind and it would eventually skip 3-5 letters after i went too fast, so I was always reverting back to stock and getting accustomed to make sure i NEVER hit the keys at the same time.

Bottom line, if swift had multi-touch, it would be the be all/end all of keyboards, for a long long time .

That's weird. i've tried multiple applications, maybe 20 (but not yours) and i was able to use the keyboard. It seems like the developers want to hear any issues or requests, so you should send them an email and see what they say. Maybe they have not tested it on that app and its just a bit of source code that can change, and they might be willing to change it fast if they realize it wont work with more apps besides the one you listed above.

I'm starting to like it a lot except:

1) There's no mic button for Text To Speech - come on!
2) The accuracy of the keys (how far off center you hit until a key you did not intend is pressed) is worse than the stock Sense keyboard. It's like you have to hit keys dead center to make them register

3) Auto correction is NOT the same as prediction! I hope people understand the difference: the prediction is great but the auto-correction is mediocre

4) if you accidentally hit space to accept a word you didn't want, when you do hit backspace to go back to the word, the predictive text tries to be relevant to the accidentally accepted word, but the prediction will NOT save the word you WERE typing.

Example:

Try typing "something" (your intended word) and hit space just after you see "sometimes". Now, hit back space as if you're going back to correctly type "something". Notice the predictive text will ONLY have "sometimes" listed, but not "something" (or however many letters of the word you typed before accidentally accepting the wrong word).

My point is, the prediction should allow the user to go back and continue typing where they left off, without offering a limited prediction of words.

So...

1) Type "somet.." (you want to type "something") but hit space right when you see "sometimes"
2) You say, "It got the wrong word - "sometimes." Let's go back and change it."
3) Hit backspace until the cursor is right after the last letter
4) Predictions should offer you to restart typing at the point where you hit space, which would be "somet..."

Makes sense?

I think it's extremely subtle but a major UI oversight. I hope the dev sees this thread. I'd be happy to offer more feedback, because this keyboard has a ton of potential.

Otherwise, fantastic concept, and way better than Swype or Shapewriter.

You can turn that off in the settings.

My first impressions of Swiftkey was that I was wowed by it. Surprised how well it predicted my next words and I was finishing sentences in 6 taps or less. However.. with further usage.. I'm starting to think I need to go back to Swype. Bottom line is.. Swiftkey is still a touch/tap keyboard... and my big clumsy fingers keep pushing the wrong buttons. With Swype.. I was able to just mush my thumb all over the place and it predicted my words correctly 80%+ of the time. Then again.. I'm the same guy who actually taps better in landscape on SWYPE.
