Droid Users Using Open Home App At All?

Eh...don't think its fully 2.0 compatible yet. Will love it when its fully there though! Wish ALL Market listing had thumbnails too. I don't like downloading, then having to launch to find out its a hideous theme!

Is it slowing down your phones at all? I've been interested, but dont know if would have that negative impact. Instead of buying and returning, I guess I'll take the lazy approach and just ask.

Me too, with the Hero theme. It doesn't lag up the Droid either, so long as you keep transitions on normal. Actually, the cube is pretty quick, but to me it's more of a gimmick than useful.

Now I have 5 home screens, a Sense UI interface, and still get to keep my OMAP processor

How close to the actual Sense UI is this theme? How is performance on the Motorola Droid?

I don't know that I would bother with ahome or openhome at this point. At first I thought I would need more screen real estate, but right now I am OK with 3 home screens. I've got all my most used Icons on the home screens and everything else is in the pull up tray. I certainly wouldn't pay for more homescreens or custom Icons at this point...is there some other feature I am missing?

I'm also contemplating which hometheme app to buy. So far the best response I've seen from droid users has been towards GDE. Can anyone provide more info as to what the differences are between: GDE, ahome, openhome, pandahome

Yeah, the performance on normal I would say is equal or slightly above the stock home screen.

I have since then changed it to "fade", which is seamless. Very, very quick.

I've been trying to find it, where do I download GDE? Every time I do a search on the MarketPlace it just returns themes.

I like panda home because it is free and you can hide apps in the drawer that you don't use.

Every one has caused some lag or minor glitches with my phone...if you don' notice this...good for you...wait for them to be fully droid/2.0 compatible...trust me on this...
