Leedroid or Open Desire?

Can anyone with experience of both these roms give a recomendation for the better choice of the two?

Main focus for me is battery life. Im using Open Desire at the moment, and the battery life is ok, but could be better.

Any other recommendations for better performing froyo Sense roms are also appreciated

If battery life is what you're after, look no further than OpenDesire. I have tried just about ALL of the Desire ROMs, both 2.1 and 2.2, and OpenDesire is absolutely the best ROM, in terms of battery life. I've used LeeDroid as well.

Battery life on Open Desire is the best I've seen on any ROM

Battery life ain't too bad but nothing much to gauge it against, Rom is very stable and the few issues I had have been sorted..

Used both roms, each for a few days, not the most latest version of both though and definitely opendesire wins in battery efficiency compared to leedroid. However, it is not as feature rich as leedroid.

Currently reverted back to stock though, still find it to be best for battery life.

Find Leedroid doesn't report batery well when the screen is off (sleep or whatever it is) then it seems to overexaggerate battery use when awake but on balance, I don't think it is any worse or better than the 2.1 ROM

I have heard/read that the Opendesire rom is the best for battery...

I currently use Devillain.. because thats the only rom I have found that my MMS works with although I haven`t tried Open Desire rom .. tried 3 and Devillain ( for whatever reason ) works for me ( mms ) ..

How long does open desire battery last for? And what's missting off it in comparisson to leedroid? On leedroid I uae heavy usage such as internet most of day, music aswel and have high brightness with moving live wallpapers. Normally lasts me about a day sometimes just under. At the moment I am on 66 percent battery since 10am which has been about 3 hours. I have been using my phone for net using WiFi non stop and playong games. I have v1.4c Rom at the moment.

Used Leedroid for a while before going for Ginger Villian 0.9 as my current ROM. Been very good, I even installed LD on a non technical friends Desire and it works great.

Open desire is old. Defrost has it I think. No sense though

I don't know. I dont / won't use HTC sense roms.

Open.desire doesn't use sense either

What happened to that transproxy app you found?
