With companies like ATT beginning to put caps on there data plans , I am sure other companies are sure to follow suit. Its the sad reality of things to come. Let me be first to say that I hope I am wrong. Anyway 3g watchdog monitors all of your data usages via 3g, edge, or gprs. The idea is to keep on top of your usage and to stop you from going over allowed usage for that particular month. Watchdog does this amazingly well , by foremost keeping you informed at all times via a status icon (you can shut it off) at the top of your homes creen.
Simple colors help you stay on top of things, green means your all good, yellow means watch out your close, red meaning STop using the data now! Open the app and things get a bit more interesting and detailed. Start customizing your settings to help you stay on top of things. Track your usage over days, weeks, and months.Tell the app how much you can use in a month, set it to warn you via vibration, then have it even shut down data usage (requires APNdroid) so you can insure that you do not go over. Read the following for more info and images.

Pros.
1. FREE
2. Widget support
3. Emblem at the top of home screen keeping you up to date. Set when 3g is in use only, all the time or not to show.
4. Set quota
5. Track past usage daily, weekly, monthly
6. Set to notify you at a certain percentage of usage
7. Set amount of data allowed per month, day or week
8. activate or remove vibrate notification
9. With APNdroid have it send you an MMS
10. Set to alert when roaming

Cons.
1. None

Can you really find anything wrong with a free (no ads) driven app that gives you so much and in the long run will help you save money?! AT only 164kb its a no brainer, seriously. You ATT guys better start DL'ing it
