Have you checked your order status? Did you ever get any confirmation of the order?
Keep in mind that there can be varying situations. Are you a new customer or renewing a contract? Did you pay cash, put it on a credit card or bill it to your account? Do you have a credit history with Verizon? Any outstanding or late payments? Some other posts seem to suggest that such factors may make some orders take much longer to process than others. Someone with a long history with Verizon, who has had no late payments and who is paying by cash or credit card is much less risk and therefore may get approved faster. I know that this doesn't necessarily help with the frustration but you can't necessarily compare other's experiences to yours unless you also know that you have similar situations.
