I chose not to go with the leaks because they were so user "unfriendly" when they first came out. Then, I don't even know how to root mine anyway.

I saw today that there's a 1-click root program out but then I saw my brother's post. If it's out for the EVO, it will be here very soon for the Inc (please, no thread titles on this ;))

I can wait.

I'm going to start a new thread with the title "TheGoatLantern says he 2.2 OTA is coming sooner then we think" :D

That will teach you! LOL

Damn is it too late to say "don't quote me on that"? ;)

I disagree, i think it will be here..... NOW.... no..... NOW....
*damn it!!

NO...Now, crap!

This will certainly spawn a series of 'news' articles from other Android websites!

That would be hilarious.... :)

You aren't the only coward here Musky, I like my phone right now and am afraid to ruin what we have going ;)

Yes, and for me the "cons" outweigh the "pros" by a lot!

The phone does everything I need it to do and tethering with PDAnet works great. So although I'd like to have wireless tethering and a WiFi hotspot, they are certainly not a necessity for me. There are apps that do everything I need for now.

I would consider rooting but have invested way too many hours in getting just the right apps, screen layouts, touchdown settings, widget and calendar configurations etc. to wipe clean simply to root and have to start all over again. Until there is a robust proven solution for porting a config. And app image from an unrooted to rooted Dinc. I'm gonna have to wait. Sux!
