Poor battery life due to GPS bug

I'm trying to decide between the Droid X and the Incredible. I found this link in the Droid X forum, regarding a potential cause for poor battery life. Could this issue be plaguing the Incredible as well?

No... There have been 0 reports of GPS keeping the Incredible at 100% uptime. It's always been a rogue app or something not closing (a force close or uninstall would resolve the issue)

I recently had this issue and i think I've tracked it down to Beautiful Widgets. They had since put out a patch that I think has fixed the issue.

Absolutely. Since installing System Panel and keeping a watchful eye over updates or new downloads, there has been no need for me to charge my phone during the workday (~10 hours for me) unless I just want to keep it topped off.

no gps problems other than beautiful widgets staying on once
