Sorry for the delay on the response. I haven't been on lately. What you do is download Kies on your computer and have it open. Don't have the phone plugged in yet. On the phone go to settings, to usb setting,and select samsung kies. Then go back to the home screen and plug it in. Once it is connected go to contacts and there is a button that says sync with outlook. You have to do that with the calander also. It won't sync if its not on the home screen. I too have been a blackberry user for at least 8 years and I needed to sync my outlook contacts and calander. It works and the tethering works on there also. Another option is to use gsyncit It is $15 for each computer. I am using it now and it works fine. Everything I add in my outlook gets synced to google and my phone gets it automatically. I have tried it on 2 computers but don't have the settings correct yet. I get duplicate calander entries for some reason.
