Help smspopup resends txt messages on reboot

Few of us are having a problem where if you have smspopup installed and reboot the droid x, your last 3-5 txt messages are resent.

I've logged the bug here:

Please star it or whatever it's called.

I hope they fix this fast! I really haven't had to reboot the phone, but got the OTA update this morning and woke up a few [angry] friends.

Thank you for making the log and this thread. I appreciate it. I'm surprised at how it seems as though no one uses this program in this form. I love being able to quickly reply, and the stock messenger is just perfectly capable without me having to rely on a third party application.

I hope the developer can find out what the problem is!

I think there's a few here that have the problem, and I severely pissed off some friends when I did the OTA update this morning and it txt'd out without me knowing.

Developer has replied on the google link, the more that add comments, the more serious he will see it as!

I have also made several people angry with this resending text. Hopefully it will be fixed SOON!

give handcent a try. I used SMS Popup when I first got the phone but moved on to handcent due to the bug and haven't looked back. much better sms alternative.

I don't like handcent, that's why I like SMSPOPUP.

I'm running stock right now until they fix smspopup.

I'm waiting to confirm a fix for this bug before updating a new version to Market.
