Has anyone here come from the Incredible?

As they said, there are tons of topics on this subject already. Having both phones here, both are great. Just go to the store and see/feel which is right for you. If you do not like the UI/Blur on the X, get Launcher Pro. I find it better than Sense UI. But that's just my opinion. I also find that the DX camera is better, but the DI camera UI is better. For me, the DX is better. For others, the DI is better.

The Incredible is a much smoother phone with Sense UI, but the bigger screen of the X has led me to decided to Ebay my Incredible. Both have a few issues of their own as any phone out there. I'd love to combine the best parts of both phones into one to be honest. Or just put Sense UI on the X.

I moved from the Incredible. I'd used it for about 2 months. Prior to that I had an original Droid.

On the Droid X I find:

- Overall call quality is clearer (this could be a component of better signal strength)
- Larger screen is worth it for me
- I enjoy more of a "stock" Android versus the HTC Sense (which is the opposite of what I thought I'd find)
- Battery life is probably a push -- I find that most people claiming great battery life are also heavily manipulating the extras like turning Wi-Fi off, etc

Some of the concerns that I've heard on podcasts about the Droid X being too big to "one hand screen scroll/click" are valid. I however am happy to have the extra screen display size and the extra space is not overly awkward to navigate.

I don't see any difference in ability to carry either model. They both to me feel very well built - overall the tipping point was the larger screen on the Droid X.

they're both great phones. the x has better call quality. you can't go wrong with either. Lack of sense is a non-issue as you can dress up your phone to be better than sense if you install beautiful widgets, launcher pro plus, and widget locker. Of course root is fantastic too.

I came from the DI, got it on Launch had it for about 2 months. LOVED the DI , My volume rocker was defective so while waiting for a replacement for about a month I went with the DX. My initial reaction was that I liked the hardware but didn't care for the software. I did and still do prefer the way HTC handles Social network integration, but overall I am pleased with the X. I have since fell in love with the device...As far as the camera goes I was happy with the DI, It personally was the best camera I have ever had on a phone. At first my DX cam was pretty bad, at least 75% of my pics were terrible. I ended doing a hard reset hoping to remedy this problem and it worked like a charm, I would now give the X a slight advantage IMO... In a nutshell both are amazing devices, as far as the X goes Blur is an absolute NON issue and both have exceptional cameras (IMO)... You cannot lose with either one !!!!

I just jumped the iPhone train a month ago for the DX. Prior to picking up the DX I spent some time ogling on the Dinc. To me they are both very good devices. I really liked and still have a good impression of Sense. I like how Sense made the Android experience more coherent which if nothing else the iPhone has in spades. HTC has done a fairly good job of integrating Sense with Android. It runs fairly smoothly and does seem to offer some value. I love how the cut and paste works in Sense...it's very similar to the iPhone. The stock Android cut and paste is laughable at best.

I was just about to jump the DX ship and go with the Dinc this weekend. I guess the grass is greener on the other side. What stopped me was the 2.2 leak on Friday. The update provided me lots of entertainment this weekend. :D

Ideally I would own both phones and switch back and forth. That way I would get to play with two of the best Android phones available. What to do....

I came from an Incredible.

Pros:
-Battery life is way better
-Faster (better FPS in games, faster rendering in web browser, loading apps, etc.)
-Better call quality and reception
-Larger screen!
-Much better build quality (metal vs. plastic)
-Better camera quality (stills and video)
-With 2.2 and LauncherPro, home screen scrolling smoother than the Incredible
-8GB of internal storage can be used for apps
-I can see the screen easily outside, even in direct sunlight
-802.11n wifi
-3 microphones for excellent audio recording
-Gorilla Glass

Cons:
-Sense UI is better than Motoblur
-I miss the Sense UI widgets
-On my X, the speaker is adequately loud, but the Incredible's is a little louder
-Camera app loads slower and the interface is less intuitive; also, there is no tap-to-focus--you'll need a third-party camera app for that
-I like the Inc's black status bar over the X's white, but I suppose that can be changed by rooting the phone
-Overall, out of the box, the X is inferior to the Inc in software quality. But there is a whole Android market out there!
-Must remove battery to access microSD card
