Help Voice actions: some commands missing

HTC Desire, Android 2.2, new Google Voice Search

Several commands - 'send text to', 'send mail to', 'note to self' and 'go to' - are missing. They are not parsed, and they do not appear in the Help list when voice search is launched.

Is this because I don't use the standard HTC message, mail and browser apps, by any chance? (But they are still on the phone, of course.)

I noticed that if I just speak a web search, it launches the HTC browser, whereas Dolphin is my dafault browser.

I finally got these commands by changing the language setting to English (US).

and do you find that these commands work? My main problem with the sent text to action is that when I say for instance 'send text to Samantha hey how are you doing today' it enters 'samantha hey how are you doing today' or some variance of that into the 'message' field rather than putting 'samantha' in the 'to' field. Anyone else experiencing this or knows how to fix it?

It works for me. Maybe it is having difficulty interpreting the name Samantha?

no, I tried it with other names as well and keep getting the same problem....dunno what to do

Me neither. I've pretty much given up on the app. Pretty much useless to me.
