on the new 2.2 firmware under location there are now

VZW location services

Standalone GPS

Google Location.......

I know what standalone is but what is VZW and Google?

Also there is a lot of hype about have flash 10.1 but didnt the phone have flash on 2.1?

VZW location - uses cell towers to mark your location
Google location service - not too sure but i believe it gets the ballpark of your location so when you go on google.com/google maps you can find POI's near you

the phone had the beta version of flash that which didnt support full flash that 10.1 does

so what does this full flash do for me?

I'm not so sure about that. It seems that if I have the VZW location checked, it does not update my location (as seen on the clock and weather on the home page.) It does, however, if I select the google location. This past weekend I traveled from Rochester, NY to Columbus, OH and back and had a good chance to check this out.
