Mass Delete "INBOX.Spam"?

Using email (IMAP Account), in the "INBOX.spam" folder, the only options I see using the Menu button are: Refresh, Compose, Accounts, Account Settings, Sort, and Search. I don't see a Delete All option (as in the Trash folder).

Is there any way to perform a mass delete of all items (emails) in the spam folder? (In case there is a separate action to perform to also do so on the server, please advise how to do this.) If I can't mass delete, is there a way to move all to the Trash folder or some equivalent so that I can delete all there? It is quite frustrating deleting one or two spam emails at a time.

Just bought the Epic 4G today...probably returning it tomorrow for the same or related reason. I can find no way to delete all emails, but have to delete each one manually by clicking on each email. I get a couple hundred emails a day sometimes, but at least 80 or so. The idea of spending the next couple years clicking on each email in order to delete it...no way.

They said I should move my business to gmail and then I can delete my emails on the web. Which is silly.

I get my emails from our company's pop3 server, I download them onto my laptop, my desk computer and my phone. I get emails addressed to several different addresses. And I'm going to move to a web-based email in order to use this phone?

Don't think so.

Also, how could they not have copy and paste function! This is the 21st century! If you want to use this phone for business, it's not very business-friendly, unless you just want to read emails and have your secretary spend 15 minutes a day deleting your messages for you. No Control button on the keyboard?!

I do not think you really know what GMail is. It is as web based as any other email server - you can set up an email client for it on your laptop the same as for every other email. You can set up IMAP on your laptop and have easy access to delete everything from your laptop. Forwarding everything to GMail also means you get Push email for every account you have, even if it does not have push natively.

Besides, in order to organize your emails from various accounts you can create filters and labels to sort these items.

You can create labels for each of your external accounts and then create filters that will move incoming messages to specific labels (folders) in your GMail.
