hero update 2,1 2

just been on androidcentral and in the states they are talking about another official update for the hero (most saying its update to 2,1 1 i.e 2,1 2 ) to solve memory leaks and other issues.Any one heard anything on this and if we a cross the pond will get the same update.

2.1-update1 is the most recent after all three OTA updates here.

Bear in mind the majority of the heroes in America are Sprint/CDMA heroes and they are entirely different phones with different firmware. I haven't heard about any memory leak problems for our GSM heroes.

yes 2,1 update 1 is most recent and i believe we will not see another update major or minor for the hero(unless major software problems arise) .however if the CDMA hero gets 2,2 or any sort of update off there carriers people here will start screaming.

I doubt that very much. The majority of users who bother to visit Android-related forums and blogs, and would therefore be aware of such an update, are also well aware of the difference between the CDMA and GSM Hero.

very true am not doubting peoples knowledge(maybe my own) am just saying that if 2,2 became available for the CDMA hero then would people not be asking about the European vision.

Getting android 2.2 and a fix for a memory leak are two very different things. But yeah, if they got 2.2 on their CDMA Heroes, damn right we'd be complaining
