I'm curious about what kind of speeds you guys are getting with WiMax on your Epics.
On its own, I'm not necessarily disappointed with the "4G" speeds, but I'm a little surprised at the disparity between the Epic and my Clear modem.
I'm sitting at my desk right now with the modem and phone about a foot apart from each other. My Clear modem attached to my laptop just got this 5+ mbps DL result:

While the Epic got DL results of 2.8, 1.5, 1.5, 4.1 and 3.9 mbps, all within a total span of 5 minutes.
So not only does the Epic not even come close to Clear, which is using the same WiMax technology in the same location, but the Epic is woefully inconsistent within its own results.
I realize the Clear modem is a dedicated device. I don't expect the Epic to beat it or even match it. But to have the Clear modem be over three times as fast in some cases, and twice as fast on average seems inexcusable.
What kinds of '4G' speeds can you guys report with your Epics?
