Help Soft keys!!!

The soft keys not staying illuminated longer then a few seconds is driving me nuts!! I have went through all the settings a dozen or so times!! Are we stuck with this? I work nights and would love a fix.........

There's a fix for numerous things coming at some point, the short timer on the soft keys is mentioned on the list.

We are better off than those poor Epic 4G owners, though

The only thing I could say for now until there is a way to change it is do like i have done and just memorize their location. There is only 4 of them so it's not too bad.

Yeah, I agree this is frustrating. Although, on the Incredible they never turn off and that drives me nuts as well. Laying in bed with the screen brightness all the way down, you have four extremely bright LED's lighting up your face non-stop.

This problem affects all the Galaxy S variants. It was just one in a list of things that sent me in another direction.

Agreed. HTC Incredible's lights are freaking bright and it blinds me.

I'm sure there is a happy medium, and I hope potentially future fixes/updates address it.

At first this was bugging me as well.... I, too, searched through all the display settings thinking it could be changed. But now, I actually like them dark. There's only four... and it was easy to remember the drill... So I'm now off to fret about something else!! LOL

x2. I don't use my phone in the pitch dark a whole lot, but it would seem to be more annoying having them lit all the time if I were doing so. After about 1 day, I know where they are. Not an issue to me at all.
