Help Bluetooth intermittently disconnecting

Just got my Droid X and love it so far. However, I'm having an odd bluetooth issue. I paired my DX with my Jawbone Icon, and everything worked fine....at first. However, now it seems to disconnect the jawbone arbitrarily. Strangely, the blue bluetooth indicator at the top of the DX display stays lit as though it's connected, but the earpiece becomes unable to initiate or answer calls. To resurrect the earpiece I have to turn it off, wait for the bluetooth indicator to go white, and then turn my earpiece back on. At that point, it connects and works fine.....for a while until it happens again.

Any ideas?

PS I guess it's possible there's a problem with the earpiece, but it always worked fine with my iPhone 3G.

Mine starting acting weird today too. I had it in the card dock and all of sudden it would switch from my bluetooth headset to the speakerphone. The cardock display showed that both the bluetooth and speakerphone were active at the same time. Weird huh?

Are we the only ones? I'm trying to determine if this is a disable bug or if i have defective phone. Anyone else?

Glad I'm not alone! I've been having the same problem with my Jawbone Prime bluetooth. I even tried my wife's and still does the same thing. Sometimes it works but if I hang up and dial or answer another call then most of the time it doesn't work. I have to turn off the bluetooth and then back on.

Called Verizon and they did not try to troubleshoot or anything. They just sent me a new Droid X. The new one does the same thing. I don't know what to do. I love this phone but I drive for a living and need to have the bluetooth work. Any ideas?

Did you try a hard reset on the Jawbone? That's what solved my issue.

I have problems with bluetooth when using my moto eq7. If i keep the screen lit up it usually works fine. If the screen goes off while streaming music it will stop playing randomly, sometimes half way through the first song, sometimes it will make it a couple songs. No stuttering it just quits. When it does quit the bluetooth icon is still blue. I've tried everything I can think of and no luck. I can usually toggle bt a couple times and it will resume but not for long. Makes me want to headbutt a kitten.

I just started having with my Jawbone icon last night. Same thing as you guys, it just wouldn't stay connected. I took it back to the VZW store and got a replacement. It worked for a little while, then it started disconneting again. I figured it must have been from a recently installed app. I uninstalled checkers, and it stayed connected! When I got home it disconnected again. :( arghh!!! I installed the latest software from the website and all is well again. :)

I think that app had something to do with it not working, if I remember correctly I installed that checkers app once before and it was giving me issues.

Appbrain seems to be down at the moment. I will post the link to that checkers app that I think started my issues
