Root New Root User, NEED HELP

I just rooted my phone and wiped the Memory, i need help finding a good reliable ROM and installing it. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not going to restore my phone contacts and im also having trouble finding the Nandroid option.

PLEASE HELP!!![/QUOTE

If you mean nandroid backup and restore, it is just the backup and restore you find in your clockwork custom recovery.

The most stable roms tend to be the Sense ROMs like SkyRaider, FrankenROM, Virtuous (my current fav.), and Uncommon Sense.

im having trouble flashing them also... I thought i was pretty computer literate but when it comes to this i can't find out how to do it to save my life.

I plug my phone into the computer, enable usb debugging, then after that i'm lost. I've downloaded the virtous ROM already but i have no idea where to go from there. and yes, i've already looked at the guide to flashing ROMs

I second describe's suggestion of ROM's. I've run them all and used Virtuous most of the time but have recently begun using Uncommon Sense and really like it. You just need to find one you like, download it to your computer, copy to your sdcard, then boot into recovery and choose to install a zip from sdcard, then choose the file. Pretty much it for starters.

bth recovery mode is holding the volume down button while pressing and holding the top button on the phone. The ROM must be on the sdcard and when the first screen comes up, use the up/down volume button to choose recovery, the press the top button and it should vibrate and bring up another menu, green text on black background. This is recovery.

Just installed virtuous and im wondering what are some of the awesome things i can do with this? Thanks for all the help by the way

If you have a laptop you can install wireless tether for free.
wireless_tether_2_0_5-pre9.apk - android-wifi-tether - Wireless Tether for Root Users 2.0.5-pre9 *** EXPERIMENTAL *** - Project Hosting on Google Code so you can use your phone to get internet access without being limited by verizon or paying and extra $20 a month.

Titanium Backup is another good (free) app to get from the Market. It lets you backup all your apps and retain market links so you can restore them in the future and still get the updates.

Astro and EStrong are both really good file managers in case you need to move things around of find them on your sdcard.

The BIGGEST thing is the ability to remove bloatware. :D
Here is a great link for that.
Remove bloatware from HTC Droid Incredible 2.2 - Technology - Jonamerica.com

Enjoy and just make sure to backup before doing too much so in case in causes a bootloop you won't have to reinstall everything from scratch!

Glad I could help
