Droid X w/Factory Installed 2.2

Yesterday I received a new Droid X with 2.2 factory installed. My 1st DX had locked up on the big M during an attempted reset and the Verizon store could not solve the problem.

I was resetting because the phone began locking up on the M after the OTA update which led to more battery pulls than I can remenber. I had been led by VZ to believe that an ap was causing the problem so I wanted to start fresh. The first reset and an ap reload did not solve the problem. The phone was never rooted.

My question now is should I re-install my apps with the factory installed 2.2? Is it really possible that the an ap was the problem? Is it possible that the OTA 2.2 was the problem, and the factory installed 2.2 won't have the same issues?

I was running the following:

Google Sky
Launcher Pro Plus
Profile (noimjosh)
Olive Tree (bible software)
Podtrapper
BatteryLife
Dolphin HD
Xiia Live
Astro File Manager
Weather Bug
Facebook
Banking software
Ebay

I had the same circumstances. I just got my new DX yesterday. It came with 2.2 on it. I am guessing it was flashed with 2.2 rather than being updated from 2.1. Right out of the box it seemed to be running better than my older one (that was only 3 weeks old.) After a few hours of not installing any apps I decided to go ahead and reinstall all my old apps, and did so. I've only has one odd episode with the camera but after Reboot I've not had any problems whatsoever. I don't think all the dx's are the same. Please let us know how it goes and good luck!
