On Samsung Epic 4g (2.1) with latest version of Dolphin browser.

What's the best media player for the latest Dolphin Player?

I just tried to play some short online WMV files through Dolphin and got the player up but an error message: This video cannot be played

On the subject of Media, I've download Flash 10.1 for 2.1, installed and confirmed it works at least on a site that simply returns your flash player version using Flash. But when I try to play other flash media on the web through Dolphin twice I've seen the flash logo with a small 9(presume the version required), but nothing plays.

And finally, anybody know of a good test site with all the popular video formats on one page for testing. Wouldn't that be awesome a page with the top 4 or 5 formats clearly labeled.

We have 1gz processesors... unless there is a HW limitation, I optimistically think (okay hope) that some point the Android experience (like I'm sure the iphone and RIM experience) will parallel the surfing experience in IE, FF, Chrome and Safari.. at some point. Including support for Flash, javascript, JRE, activeX, etc, etc.

I have another post on trying to get other browser based things to work.. like a web based VPN client called Juniper.. get an error about JRE and javascript not being supported.

one day soon..

I'm sure it will someday. Its just that most mobile processors are pretty weak compared to even netbooks. They are battery and heat efficient, but they sacrifice raw power as a consequence. Most 1 Ghz Android phones are roughly equivalent to a high end PC in the early 2000's (although they can do many things better with less CPU power), so we've got quite a way to go.
