Root Is ther anything to tether natively via usb like Sprints official way?

I know both of those and have tried them. My issue is the Sprint way was much easier and nicer on multiple computers. With that I could just plug it in, start the stuff and it detected it. Linux, mac, windows, whatever. PdaNet and Easytether all have to have a desktop client.

If you are looking for a Wireless Tether option you may want to head over to my Thread on my Signature and try out Wireless Tether. It works nearly the same as the Sprint Stock Wireless tethering option. Of course, Root is needed.

Not wireless tether. I use it for my Wii and it works fine. I'm looking for a way to tether via usb cable with native support for ANY computer the same way Sprint does. It has to be possible. I plug it up to any computer and it connects like I just hooked it up to a modem or router with an RJ-45 cable. The issue with PdaNet and EasyTether(which I'm using right now) is that I can't just use it with ANY computer wherever I go. For instance, I do house calls for computer repair. Usually simple stupid windows errors. The point is, these people may and usually have desktops with no net and sometimes I'm unable for one reason or another to install something. Thats where Sprints fix was wonderful. There has to be a way to do so, even with root.
