Circle Battery...

Hey, if you aren't rooted but desire to have the circular Blue/Green/Orange/Red battery indicator with a percentage included, check out the below link.

If you are rooted, there are a few kitchens on XDA where you can cook a circle battery to replace your existing, or you could install the above and remove your stock battery via this link:

Very cool post but what I'm really looking for is the existing battery logo with the percent inside it. I've seen it in the "Post your screens" sections but I can't seem to find where anyone has posted anything for this icon.

Anyone know where I can find that?

Looks like he got it working well. Stumbled across a circle battery a few weeks ago but the guy was still working on it. Gotta love open source!

Yes, you can flash the remove battery jar on any rooted, deodexed rom. Make a nand backup first, but all the zip does is change the icon value visibility to false. It's still there, just not being displayed.

A couple roms have this built in already, for example Calkulin's Evio v 1.4 has a percentage. It's here [ ROM ][ 10-15 ] Calkulin's EViO 2 ROM v1.4 [ FroYo l FRG83 l OC l UV l Themeable ] - xda-developers on XDA, email or PM the dev for source.

Yeah, there's also a huge kitchen here [MOD][1st-Oct] Super Circle Battery with % |Version A-I & Z (Custom)| Desire 2.2 ROM - xda-developers on XDA but it doesn't work with all roms, depending on how the dev finished his software. However it is FAR more customizable.

TF1984...any chance what I'm looking for is out there that doesn't require flashing a whole new ROM?

I was using "Battery Status" app by Modded Logic, which had a circular battery status feature on the status bar. But it was over 1mb, and required a lot of permissions - location, phone, email (??), etc... and the circular icon was only a solid gray.

This apk is much better, leaner, and better looking!!
