Could these keyboards be any worse?

Well after flushing $$ down the toilet on Swiftkey I decided to flush some more on Ultra Keyboard and I can't even express my disappointment enough. What's the deal with these "suggestions"? I go to write a quick text message to someone and when I type in "Hi" the Ultra Keyboard 'suggests' that I meant "Highman". WTF?

I with there was a way to just have these auto-correct spelling mistakes instead of trying to predict what I'm going to type because they are just terrible at it.

Im sure you dont care to spend any more money on keyboards, but after stock, swype (and all the swype ariants), better keyboard...the list goes on, I have been using SmartKeyboard Pro for a good few months and i like it the best. It has 5 different skins to suit your needs/style and IMO has the best autocorrect of any keyboard. There might be a trial in the market, but if not, id say its definately worth a shot

Agreed. Tried like 5 different things before it and Smart Keyboard PRO is the best of them all. Nice skins, too.

I've just about forgotten about Swype as the other input methods has worked out well with me. I have Shapewriter, Smartkeyboard Pro, and Swiftkey. I was able to get Shapewriter for free and I feel that for the price I've paid for the other input methods was well worth the price. I use all these apps frequently and I've not decided solidly around one particular app.

The longer you use swiftkey the better it gets as it learns from your previous typing...

I have found its prediction is spot on, It suggests the correct word over 75% of the time, and anyway, you dont have to use the suggested words, you can just complete the word yourself or pick one of the alternatives.

I recommend that you give it another chance, its really very good.
