Well jeez - at that price it might be fun to buy one and play with it a while...
But before I do something silly like buy the thing, does anyone know if products ordered online at Walgreens can be returned to the store instead of getting shipped back?

Q: What is the Walgreens.com return policy?
A: All products purchased from Walgreens.com may be returned either to a store or by mail within 30 days of receipt unless otherwise noted on product page. All returns should be accompanied by the original receipt included with the shipment.
Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed on all Walgreens brand products! If you are not completely satisfied, return the unused portion and we will refund the full price, including shipping.
Id like to see a better unboxing video than the ones on youtube right now but I think it comes with Android 1.6 so no flash and no info on upgrading. I just dont know if I can handle using a stylus all the time.
It has 400mhz cpu, although I read somewhere that it was 533mhz. Also has a front facing camera. For $100 this might be worth getting just to mess around with. A couple of folks on XDA forums have this device already. Be intresting what kind of rom they might come up with.
Edit: Also it has 2GB of internal flash memory but does take micro sd cards.
I'd say it's a good starter for someone who would like to learn android by touching and trying without a large investment... I'm just pretty sure it will fairly quickly leave you wanting more performance for some of the more flashy things android can be fun to use it for... too slow for serious video or gaming, but all basic apps should run okay for learning...
That said, over at XDA someone has succesfully rooted and install 2.1 on this tablet. He is reporting that he has not had any problems so far. Went so far as to say it's running better then before.
He's supposed to be posting a video later today. Once I get a look I'll post a link here. If this device is really running 2.1 without issue then even at $129 this may be a good buy.
Thanks jr, lol I just ordered one and soon as I get it I will try to root it. I read every bit of that forum this morning and yeah its not perfect but if anything Ill use it browse and read books. (so long as I dont brick it) Ive got help so hopefully it will work out nicely.

I am definitely tempted myself if it drops back down to $99. I like tinkering with oddball tech. I kept holding off to hear if 2.1 could be installed, and by the time it was confirmed, the price was not only up to $129, but it was also backordered. I'm skeptical about using a resistive screen with Android, but for a $99 tablet, rough edges can be overlooked.
I did read something about it not playing MP4 vids and that is depressing since my Kodak Zi8 records to MP4. I was really wanting to use it as a photo/video player on the go. Maybe someone will come out with an app or codec to fix that issue.
Wow talk about taking their sweet a$$ time shipping this thing! I called Walgreens and the operator confirmed that they werent expecting so many orders. They are now telling buyers that there is a 7 day processing time frame and a 7 day delivery time. The tablet is in stock but I wont hold my breath waiting for this thing. Time goes on...
