Hi,

This is a general question about what you guys want from a Live Wallpaper

Either:
- A game type experience where you interact and see instant results (think pixel zombies)
- Or a Wallpaper which changes gradually and you see the effects after a day of use for example.

I have made a live wallpaper showing a simulation of natural swarming and emergent behaviour.
The settings of the simulation can be closly tweaked, allowing a more game like experience where u can interact with the simulation and see the results quickly, or a more relaxed experience where you see constant change over a day of use for example.

What would you guys prefer?

Thanks for any feedback!

I personally like a gradually changing wallpaper. The "game" type wallpapers are just to busy for me. My current live wallpaper is a real time Earth/Weather globe, to give you an idea.

I have to say that a nice balance is always a good thing. My favorite live wallpaper is the one that came standard on my Mesmerize (called "Luminescence") because it gradually changes and moves without interaction, but it reacts to your finger touch as if you are actually touching the color panels. Love it, but it's too girly for me. I just think it's by far the most practical, stylish and cool live wallpaper out there, besides "Living Music".

So all in all, a nice balance between interaction and gradual change appeals to me the most.
