Premature b!tching. it worked. Just took a while to boot up.

Oh no..

Follow this and now the phone just sits at the Droid Eye:

Linux Instructions:

  1. Download sbf_flash (credit [mbm])
  2. Unzip the SBF (Download Above)
  3. Put your Droid X into bootloader (turn phone off and hold volume down and the camera button while pressing the power button)
  4. Connect your USB
  5. Open a terminal window.
  6. Run "cd Downloads"
  7. Run "chmod +x sbf_flash"
  8. Run "sudo ./sbf_flash VRZ_MB810_1.13.6.2_1FF_01.sbf"
  9. Wait and finish!
Note: after the flash will need to boot into recovery (hold volume down and the home button) and wipe data and cache

I went in and deleted the data and cache.

Hey!!!!!!!! Just finished and told my phone to look for an upgrade and guess what its pulling down 2.3.15!

Don't get too excited about 2.3.15, it's really Android 2.2 (Froyo), but the Motorola build is 2.3.15. Just don't want you getting all excited thinking you are getting Gingerbread! Anyways, glad to hear you got your phone to where you wanted it.
