Help HD video really??? realllly?

recorded a short clip and watched it on my laptop. what a crock. its really grainy. SOOO not 780P. Am i supposed to download anything to get the HD video? or does just upgrading to 2.1 do it?

I'm on the fence about this as well, but I think the camera's ability takes a drastic turn for the worse between outdoor beautiful natural sunlight vs any other condition (inside, low light, etc..)

True, it depends on the lighting conditions. Don't expect HD video for indoor/low light filming. And even the outdoor HD (720p) has issues.
But overall it's a step forward.

Think we have come on miles with mobiles in a very short time its not that long ago that pictures where unviewable if you tried to get any size outta them.

ya i have an old cell phone from like 5 years ago kicking around that i turned on. its pretty much the first phone with a camera on it..screen is the size of maybe a matchbook lol.. the video is terrrriibbble. its all squared and blurry haha. so ya... a longggggg way

I think my x10 takes damn good video quality from most of the competitors out there... I'm sure going from a 4" to a 50" screen there will be a difference for sure because the upscale is insane but if you watch it back on your phone high def quality should be achieved easily!
